COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) -- According to the Columbia Police Department a jewelry store on the 6700 block of Garners Ferry Road was robbed just before 11:45 Tuesday morning.

Police say one suspect entered the store first and and ordered everyone inside to get to the ground, then the second suspect allegedly entered and smashed the glass jewelry counter and stole jewelry.

Police say three people were inside the store at the time, but no one was injured.

Both suspects ran out of the store and into a getaway car, say police.

That car later wrecked at Pennington Way near Leesburg Road.

One person has been detained, while the second is currently being sought, say police.
