Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) -- Family members of one of two male victims gunned down Friday morning at a house near downtown Columbia turn to each other for comfort, as Richland County deputies search for answers.

Authorities say they received a tip from a neighbor Friday morning that an incident may have happened at this house on Kentucky Street in Columbia. When deputies arrived they discovered the bodies of two male victims, one 22, the other 26, they say. According to authorities, the victims had been shot in the upper body and left there.

Investigators have arrested two individuals, one of whom is a minor, who were actually pulled over by highway patrol in Aiken. No charges have been filed.

For new and old residents, the double homicide is very unsettling.

Details are unclear. No motive has been identified. The area, populated by mostly college students, tries to get back to normal.
