Greenville Police Investigate Deadly Beating

(WOLO) GREENVILLE,S.C., --

Greenville POlice are investigating a deadly beating of a man authorities say tried to break up a fight between a man and two teenage girls.

According to authorities, the incident took place at a Community Center which was being rented out for a sweet 16 birthday party. Police say during the party a man attending the party punch two teenage girls in the face.

Police report the victim, 20 year old De'Bron Harrison intervened to stop the violence when authorities claim a crowd of about 6 people began chasing him from the party.

Once they caught up with Harrison, police say they severely beat him and kicked him in the face. Harrison died as a result of those injuries this weekend.
