Pedestrian Hit By Car Near USC Campus

Columbia, SC (WOLO)-- A woman was taken to the hospital Tuesday afternoon after being struck by a car.

Investigators with the Columbia Police Department say the woman was crossing Assembly St. near the Greene St. intersection when she was hit by a car.

Police say the victim had only minor injuries and is in stable condition.

The driver was cited with failure to yield for a pedestrian.
