SC Drought Ends

WOLO Columbia, SC-While some of us may not enjoy the rain, it's actually helped pull South Carolina out of a drought.
That's the first time in more than three-years.
A drought response committee voted today to lift the state's parched status because of above normal rainfall over the past five-months.

We might be out of parched status but still could use a nice slow rain that soaks in rather than runs off. Of course...we have a sandy lot so guess I'm just venting.
