(WOLO) QUEBEC,CANADA--

Some tense moments for residents in the Province of Quebec who watched as a train hauling 70 tankers full of crude oil derailed and burst into flames.

Witnesses report seeing the flames and smoke shooting several feet into the air during the blast.

The blaze was so intense, officials say it spread to nearby homes forcing some residents to be evacuated.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the accident.

No word yet on what caused the train to run off the track.
