Columbia, SC (WOLO)-The number of people filing initial unemployment claims has fallen to a three-month low. That's according to a report released today (Thursday) by The Labor Department. Initial unemployment claims fell by nine-thousand to 315-thousand last week -- the lowest number it's been since November.

could it be because the timeframe of existing off unemployment has lengthened and it's no longer necessary to file as frequently?
