Analysts Say Holiday Shoppers Distracted
ATLANTA (AP) - Shoppers have been crowding malls in the days leading up to Christmas, but analysts say they haven't been eager to spend.
The latest figures from ShopperTrak have sales falling 4.3 percent for the week ending Dec. 15. Analyst Marshal Cohen of NPD Inc. says there've been too many distractions for shoppers, like the ``fiscal cliff'' deadline. |
