By News Department

HOPKINS, S.C. (WOLO) - A small water line break is causing issues for some Hopkins residents.

The Richland County Utilities Department has issued a boil water advisory until further notice.

It's impacting the 1000 to 1200 block of Clarkson Road.

Officials say there has been no confirmed contamination of the system, but the potential still exists.

Those living in the affected areas are asked to boil their water at least one minute prior to cooking and drinking.
