COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) - Watch out, the Columbia Fire Department says some people are trying to take advantage of its annual Fill the Boot fundraiser.

There are two reports of impostors collecting money at area intersections.

Before handing over a donation, a spokesperson says you need to make sure that individual is holding a boot, wearing a safety vest and has clothing marked with the department's logo.

The drive, which raises money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association continues through Friday
