Passenger Killed in Christmas Eve Crash

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) - A crash in Orangeburg County takes the life of a passenger on Christmas Eve. That's according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Details surrounding the crash are limited, but troopers say two cars were involved near US 15 and SC 210 around 11:30pm.

The driver of the 2012 Chrysler was taken to Orangeburg Regional Medical Center.

The driver of the 2009 Dodge Charger was taken to the same hospital along with one of her passengers. A second passenger was killed in the accident. Troopers say that individual was wearing a seat belt.

The Highway Patrol's MAIT Team has been called in to investigate.
