Sumter man shot twice, killed during argumentSUMTER, S.C. (AP) — Authorities say a Sumter man was shot to death during an argument outside a home. Investigators told The Item of Sumter that 20-year-old Devontaye Boatright died at the hospital shortly after he was found Thursday in the road with gunshot wounds to the chest and stomach. Sumter County deputies say 19-year-old Antauan June turned himself in shortly after the shooting. He has been charged with murder. It wasn't clear if he had an attorney.
