2nd child dies from injuries in Lexington wreck
LEXINGTON, S.C. (AP) — A second child has died from injuries in a wreck in Lexington last week.
Ten-year-old Haley Upchurch of Lexington died this week at Palmetto Health Richland hospital from injuries in the wreck Friday.
Her brother, 7-year-old Cameron Upchurch, died at Lexington Medical Center shortly after the wreck.
Their sister, Christeena Upchurch, was released from the hospital.
The children were riding with their grandparents when their car was struck by a pickup. Thirty-six-year-old Robert Craft of Pelion has been charged with felony DUI causing death and felony DUI causing great bodily harm.
He's being held in the Lexington County jail. It wasn't clear if he has a lawyer.
The grandparents were treated and released from the hospital.
