3 charged with kidnapping in December killing
LINCOLNVILLE, S.C. (AP) — Three people have been charged with kidnapping a man who was found dead near railroad tracks in Lincolnville last month.
Charleston County deputies say no murder charges have been filed yet, and they continue to investigate the death of 25-year-old Marquis Richardson.
Authorities say Richardson was kidnapped at gunpoint from a home in Charleston on Dec. 19. His body was found the next day in Lincolnville and he had been shot once in the head.
Deputies say 23-year-old Latasha McCall, 22-year-old King Wilson and 29-year-old Travaris Walker are all charged with kidnapping. They are being held in the Charleston County jail without bail and it wasn't clear if they had lawyers. A fourth suspect, 29-year-old Fredrick Sanders has also been charged with kidnapping but has not been arrested.
