Coroner: 2 guns used in deadly Irmo shootings
IRMO, S.C. (AP) — Authorities say two guns were used in the deaths of a man and woman found shot to death in a home near Irmo.
That's the latest information from Richland County Coroner Gary Watts.
On Saturday, the coroner said 44-year-old Tammy Parker was found in the upstairs office of her home. Also killed was 46-year-old Brian Capnerhurst of Batesburg-Leesville, who was found in an upstairs storage space near the office.
Watts says both died from multiple gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene Friday afternoon.
Parker's husband also was in the home, and deputies have not released a motive for the shootings.
Watts said Parker's husband invited Capnerhurst over to conduct some business for the family. The couple's two children were at school when the shootings happened.
