SC man dies in watercraft crash on Lake MurrayCOLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Authorities say a West Columbia man has died after crashing on a personal watercraft on Lake Murray. Lexington County Coroner Harry O. Harman says 49-year-old Richard Stowe was riding the craft around 6:45 p.m. on Friday when he hit something in the water. Harman says Stowe was thrown off and an autopsy showed that he died from drowning. Authorities are still investigating the crash. |
