A Represenative for Whitney Houston says the legendary singer has died. Information has not been released on how she was discovered and the cause of death remains unknown at this time.

Houston sold more than 170 Million albums, singles and videos throughout her career including seven straight number one hits on the Billboard.

Best known for chart toppers like "Saving All My Love For You", Greatest Love of All and The Dolly Parton remake "I Will Always Love you".

Houston who divorced long time husband Bobby Brown in 2007. In 2011 she received help for a highly publicized battle with drugs and alcohol.

Whitney Houston leaves behind a daughter, Bobbi Christina and mother, Gospel Singer Cissy Houston.
