WOLO-TV is an ABC affiliate in Columbia, South Carolina. Owned by Bahakel Communication, Ltd., it broadcasts three separate streams on Virtual Digital Channel 25 (VHF RF Channel 8) from the Midlands’ tallest structure in Kershaw County. Channel 25 holds the distinction of being South Carolina’s first television station. Channel 25.1 is known as ABC Columbia and airs programs from the award-winning ABC network. It also is home to Columbia’s First High Definition newscast, game shows Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune, Rachel Ray, Judge Judy, and Judge Joe Brown. Channel 25.3 broadcasts Columbia's 24/7 Weather Channel featuring up-to-the-minute weather graphics and forecasts along with audio from the Columbia forecasting office of the National Weather Service. Channel 25.4 is known as Me-TV Columbia and airs programs from the Me-TV network, providing classic television to a newer audience. ABC Columbia is committed to the highest level of quality entertainment and a clean, straightforward newscast that is truly local. From 1953 until today, ABC Columbia is serving the Midlands.
