Jason has spent the better part of his life in South Carolina and has no intention of leaving it anytime soon. Raised in Fort Mill, he moved to Columbia in 2006 to attend the University of South Carolina where he received a BA in Media Arts. Ever since he was a boy, Jason has been mesmerized by "movie magic" and has been making home movies his entire life. From physically being behind the camera to editing, there isn't a phase of production that Jason doesn't enjoy.

Jason joined the ABC Columbia News Team in November of 2011 as a photojournalist. When he's not working at the station, he spends his spare time making movies with some old college buddies. Whether it be a wedding or just some random movie, Jason likes to keep busy doing anything and everything he can involving video.
