COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) -- Former USC forward Renaldo Balkman made his SC Pro-Am debut Thursday night at Heathwood Hall.

The New York Knicks first-round draft pick from 2006 is still exploring options to play professionally overseas after he was released from the team in June.

The new league features a combination of current professional, college and high school standouts and has attracted the best players in the state of South Carolina. The season will wrap up August 12.
