Blowfish Change Date of Hank Aaron Appearance

By Sports Department

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) -- Home run king Hank Aaron will not be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch to open the last season at Capital City Stadium.

Wednesday the Columbia Blowfish announced a conflict in Aaron's schedule will prevent him from attending the team's home opener on May 29th, as previously announced.

Aaron will now throw out the first pitch for the Blowfish at June 12th's game against Martinsville.

The Blowfish will give a general admission ticket to the June 12th game to any fan who purchased a ticket to the May 29th home opener.
