Greensboro, N.C. (WOLO) -- Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd was picked as the Atlantic Coast Conference preseason player of the year Monday.

Boyd received 105 of the 120 total votes from media members at the ACC Football Kickoff in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The second place finisher, Duke Johnson of Miami, had only four votes.

Boyd enters the 2013 season with 8,053 career passing yards and 73 touchdown passes.
