COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) -- Jadeveon Clowney practiced on Thursday with his Gamecock football team, but it's uncertain if the freshman defensive end will play vs. Clemson on Saturday.

Clowney suffered a concussion against Citadel last Saturday and up until Thursday, did not practice after being unable to pass concussion tests.

Thursday's practice was closed to the media, however online reports from thebigspur.com and gamecockcentral.com confirmed Clowney did participate in practice Thursday. The reports indicate Clowney took part in conditioning drills which included some time on a stationary bike.

According to the reports Clowney will play vs. Clemson as long as no other problems from his concussion recovery occur.

Gametime between South Carolina and Clemson is set for 7:45pm on Saturday night and will be televised by ESPN.
