Lexington vs. Blythewood Title Series Set

(WOLO) -- The 2013 class AAAA high school baseball state championship trophy will reside in the Midlands.

Friday night both Blythewood and Lexington cashed their tickets to the championship series.

Brandon Camp's 8th inning double drove in Nick Ciuffo and Lexington walked off with a 2-1 home win over S. Aiken in the lower state championship.

Zack Hamilton and the Bengals shut out Wade Hampton at home to take the upper state championship 6-0.

Lexington will host the first game of the best of three state championship series Monday at 7 p.m. Game two will be Wednesday night at Blythewood. Game three, if necessary, will be on a neutral field Friday.
