Sidney Rice Getting Knee Treatment In Switzerland

By Sports Department

(WOLO) -- Former Gamecock and current Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Sidney Rice is in Switzerland to have treatment on his knee.

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll made the announcement Tuesday.

Carroll did not give specifics on what kind of treatment Rice was having done to his knee, but did say it was not surgery.

Whatever Rice is having done, Carroll said he does not expect Rice to miss any games in the preseason or regular season.

Rice dealt with knee issues last season but never missed any games.

Carroll believes the treatment Rice is receiving will give him "fresh legs" for the season.
