COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) -- The South Carolina Gamecocks are another step away from their season opener at Vanderbilt on August 30.

Sunday, USC held their annual Media Day. The Gamecocks also participated in their third practice of fall camp that night.

One of the biggest storylines heading into USC's 2012 campaign is the return of Marcus Lattimore. During his interview, Lattimore said he put on pads for the first time during Sunday's practice and hopes to be full-force come Wednesday's scrimmage. Head coach Steve Spurrier says his core of running backs is one to watch out for this upcoming football season.
