COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina third baseman LB Dantzler is on his way back to Omaha.

The Gamecocks junior is among seven college players picked to take part in the TD Ameritrade College Home Run Derby. Others scheduled to participate include College of Charleston's Daniel Aldrich, LSU's Mason Katz and Georgia Tech's Daniel Palka.

Dantzler started all 69 games at third base for South Carolina, which finished second to national champ Arizona at the College World Series. Dantzler homered to right at TD Ameritrade Park in the Gamecocks 4-1 victory over Kent State.
