CHARLESTON, S.C. (WOLO) -- Former Gamecock assistant and current College of Charleston head baseball coach Monte Lee had a rough Friday night. Lee's Cougars lost to Western Carolina 5-4 on a controversial final play at the plate.

It appears Charleston's Devon Reed beats the tag at the plate to tie the game up. Instead, the umpire ruled Reed out to give Western Carolina the 5-4 win.

Lee's fervent objection earned him an ejection. He will have to miss game two of the weekend series against the Catamounts Saturday.
