Watkins NFL Rookie Of The Month

Former Clemson receiver Sammy Watkins has been named NFL Rookie of the Month for October. The NFL made the announcement on Friday. Watkins, the first member of the Buffalo Bills to earn NFL Rookie of the Month honors, led all rookies in receptions with 19 and reception yards with 366 in October. He tied for the lead in reception touchdowns among rookies with his former Clemson teammate Martavis Bryant of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Read more »

Big Debut For Bryant On Monday Night Football

Former Clemson standout Martavis Bryant made his NFL debut in a big way on Monday Night Football. The Steelers rookie wide receiver made his first career NFL catch a 35-yard touchdown that sparked Pittsburgh to a 30-23 win over Houston. Texans rookie linebacker Jadeveon Clowney did not play in the game. The former Gamecock came into Monday Night questionable. Clowney is still recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery after tearing his meniscus six weeks ago.
