HOPKINS, S.C. (WOLO) -- Lower Richland's Marcus Edmond made it official Wednesday when he signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the Clemson Tigers next fall.

The three-star athlete is expected to play corner for the Tigers. Edmond calls today a dream come true.

"I'm very excited to go to Clemson," said Edmond. "And, to play with them on the football team, I always wanted to play for them. It was always my goal to go to a good D1 school to play football."

Clemson's 2013 recruiting class is currently ranked 14th according to Rivals, Scout, and ESPN.
