The Catamounts, who won both games of the home-and-home season series against Clemson, improved to 21-9. The Tigers, who suffered their first loss of the season by more than four runs, dropped to 15-14 in 2012.

Byrd Co-Winner Of Masters Par Three Contest

Former Spring Valley and Clemson standout Jonathan Byrd was crowned co-champion of this year's' Masters par three contest. Byrd and Padraig Harrington finished the 9-hole course 5-under par. This year's event was shortened because of rain.
