WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) -- Glenforest School boys basketball coach William Knopf had an eventful start to his weekend.

Knopf walked nine miles through Columbia barefoot. After completing the trek, Knopf coached the Bulldogs game against Newberry Academy barefoot, as well.

For the past five seasons, Knopf has been raising for Samaritan's Feet, an organization that hopes to bring 10 million pairs of shoes to 10 million underprivileged children over then next 10 years.

Friday night, Knopf coached his 77th-straight game barefoot.
