BOCA ROTAN, FL (WOLO) -- Former Gamecock quarterback Stephen Garcia was back playing football Saturday night. It was his first game since playing for South Carolina back on October 1st in a 16-13 loss to Auburn.

Garcia played in the third quarter and portions of the fourth in the Battle of Florida All-Star game. Garcia, who hopes this performance was being watched by pro scouts was 3-of-8 passing for 106 yards and two touchdown passes.

Garcia's first TD pass was a 60-yard connection to a wide open Josh Bellamy out of Louisville. The following series Garcia almost overthrew Florida A&M receiver Kevin Elliot, but Elliot pulled down the high Garcia pass and ran in for the 24 yard touchdown reception.

In the fourth quarter Garcia injured his right arm. He said it was just a funny bone injury and should be fine. Garcia expects to be in Columbia for South Carolina's pro day later this year.

Garcia was dismissed from the South Carolina football team back in October. Garcia's North team defeated the South 51-3.
