Outback Bowl is almost here!

TAMPA OUT(WOLO) -- The Gamecocks play the Michigan Wolverines today at 1 p.m. in the Outback bowl in Tampa, Florida. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN. Here is a look at the Wolverines.


The Wolverines' leading passer Denard Robinson hasn't played behind center since injuring his elbow in October. In Michigan's last game, a 26-21 loss to Ohio State, Devin Gardner started behind center. Gardner was 11 of 20 for 171 yards and a touchdown. Gardner has started the last four games for the Wolverines going 3-1 in those four games throwing for 1005 yards and 8 touchdowns on 57 of 90 passing attempts.


Denard Robinson is also the teams leading rusher with 1166 yards and 7 touchdowns on 154 carries. Robinson had 122 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries against the Buckeyes.


Michigan has 19 sacks and 7 interceptions on the season. Senior defensive end Craig Roh is the teams leader in sacks at 4. The Wolverines are ranked 16th in points against allowing 18.8 points per game.

Comparing this to the Gamecocks; who have 40 sacks and 14 interceptions on the season. Sophomore Jadeveon Clowney is USC's leader in sacks at 13. The Gamecocks are ranked 12th in the nation in points against allowing 17.4 points per game.
