USC-Albany Opener Postponed

COLUMBIA, S.C. (USC SID) -- The South Carolina-Albany baseball game scheduled for Friday has been postponed due to inclement weather in Columbia. The two teams will begin the series on Saturday with a single game scheduled for 4 p.m. at Carolina Stadium. A doubleheader has been scheduled for Sunday beginning at Noon. Both games will be nine innings.

Saturday game tickets will be honored for Saturday's game. Fans with tickets for either Friday or Sunday will be honored for the Sunday doubleheader.

The 1977 South Carolina baseball team will still be honored before Saturday's contest. The squad will receive College World Series rings recognizing their achievements.
