COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) -- Speaking on the SEC post-spring teleconference Wednesday, South Carolina head football coach Steve Spurrier said tight end Rory Anderson and running back Shon Carson should both be ready to play this fall.

Running back Shon Carson had surgery after injuring his shoulder in the spring game.

The redshirt junior has recorded 265 rushing yards on 64 carries with one touchdown in 16 career appearances.

Anderson also had surgery after injuring his triceps in a spring scrimmage on April 5.

Spurrier said he should be able to return in a month.

The senior has played in 38 games over the past three seasons making 13 starts, owns 39 career receptions for 694 yards and has scored eight touchdowns.
