Gamecocks Battle In SC Pro-Am League
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) -- Gamecock basketball past, present and future collides this summer.
Before the basketball world watched LeBron James and the Miami Heat win their second straight NBA championship Thursday night, fans in Columbia had a chance to watch Gamecocks in all stages of their careers.
Night two of the SC Pro-Am league featured four games including former Gamecocks Zam Fredrick, Devan Downey and Malik Cooke. The action also included current Carolina forward Michael Carrera and a handful of future Gamecocks including Villanova transfer Ty Johnson, blue-chip recruit Sindarius Thornwell, former Irmo standout Justin McKie, former Hartsville star Jaylen Shaw and current Keenan standout Marcus Stroman.
