Gamecocks Struggling In Second Half

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) -- The Gamecocks men's basketball team is 11-7 (1-4 SEC) after Tuesday night's 71-65 loss at #22 Missouri. USC lead by eight points at halftime before allowing 44 points and being outscored by 14 in the second half. The second half has been unkind to the Gamecocks all season long.

USC has been outscored by a combined 17 points in the first half of its seven losses this season. The Gamecocks have been outscored by a combined 44 points in the second half.

Carolina's seven losses this season have come by a 63 combined points, an average of 9 points per game. In the Gamecocks' four SEC losses the team has lost by a combined 18 points, an average 4.5 points per game.
