COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) -- Head basketball coach Frank Martin spoke to the media today and spoke about the game against Florida tomorrow. Martin said that it is easier to defend a team with a primary option than to defend a team that plays selflessly.

"I can tell you defensively, its a heck of a lot easier to stop a team that plays through one guy than it is to stop a team that plays through multiple outlets or ways of scoring or passing," Martin said.

Martin continued on to talk about how Florida is an unselfish team that does not focus on a primary scorer.

Martin continued, "People pay too much attention to the score, not the score but the guy who scores; it's the guys that are willing to screen and pass. If you only got two guys who are going to screen and pass it makes it easier to guard, everyone of the guys screens, everyone of their guys passes; which then enables them to have balance and you know you have to guard everybody."
