COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Frank Martin is embarrassed about South Carolina's offense and the first-year coach isn't sure when things will improve.

Martin says the Gamecocks (5-3) have lost games to Elon, St. John's and rival Clemson because of their dreadful offensive execution.

Last Sunday, South Carolina trailed Clemson by double digits much of the second half in a 64-55 loss. Martin called the offense inept right after the loss. His view didn't change after watching tape the past few days.

Martin didn't know what to expect when he left Kansas State to join the Gamecocks. So far, he's found players rely too heavily on individual skills instead of working together. He also decried their lack of communication, saying the Gamecocks show more fire on social media networks than on the court.

Love the fire in the belly. Have not seen it since Frank. If you do not know who Frank is, get your history books out!!!!
