COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) -- Frank Martin's welcome to the SEC wasn't the kind of start he had hoped for.

The Gamecocks are 0-2 in conference play. Their two losses, to Mississippi State and Auburn, are by a combined five points.

"People pay attention to the record, I get it," said Martin. "I understand. We don't win, you guys [media] will be talking to someone else in four years. I know how the deal works. I don't pay attention to all that stuff."

The Gamecocks return to action Wednesday at LSU. They're back at Colonial Life Arena Saturday when they will face Vanderbilt.
