COLUMBIA, S.C. (USC SID) – With forecasts predicting rain throughout the day on Sunday, South Carolina and Florida, with approval from the Southeastern Conference, have agreed to play a doubleheader on Saturday, with first pitch set for 2 p.m. EDT at Carolina Softball Stadium at Beckham Field.

Prior to Saturday’s first game, alumni will be recognized on the field, with former head coach Joyce Compton throwing out the first pitch. The four Gamecock seniors will be honored between games one and two.

The stands will not be cleared between games. Tickets still remain for the games today at the gate, which go for $7 for adults and $4 for youth 17 and under.
