COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) -- It might not have been an SEC game, but you wouldn't know it by the injury list Sunday.
The Gamecocks suffered several significant injuries in their 28-25 win at Central Florida.
Steve Spurrier said Sunday senior quarterback Connor Shaw has a sprained right shoulder and is expected to be out 2-3 weeks. Shaw suffered the injury in the first quarter against the Knights when he was tackled on a scramble. He did not return to the game.
Redshirt sophomore Brandon Wilds is expected to miss 3-4 weeks with a dislocated elbow. The Blythewood native suffered his injury on a run in the 3rd quarter and did not return to the game.
Spurrier added that sophomore wide receiver Shaq Roland's suspension was for violation of university policy. Roland did not make the trip to Central Florida. Spurrier said he did not know when Roland would be back with the team.
