CLEMSON, S.C. (WOLO) -- Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd told the media Tuesday that he and wide receiver Sammy Watkins occasionally take part in a little trash talking.
"Oh yeah, I change a little bit when I get on the field, it gets real. I hear stories all the time, I don't hear all of my guys talking but those guys do change when they put their helmets on. I was talking to LaMarcus Joyner at Florida State and he was telling me about all these stories about what Sammy (Watkins) is talking about on the field, it was unbelievable," said Boyd with a smile.
Boyd said he spoke to Watkins about the trash talking and Watkins said, "Yeah man, I talk a lot on the field."
"You gotta love it man. There's no better spirit within the game. You've just got to love the game of football," said Boyd.
