Diaper Change Program Gives to Low Income Families

It’s going to be a happy, healthy and “dry” new year for some local babies and their parents. Monday, organizers with the Diaper Change Campaign, announced that thanks to your donations, they collected over three-hundred-thousand diapers for low income families. The campaign sponsored by SC Blue Choice Medicaid asked businesses, churches and residents to donate. Keeping a baby in diapers is expensive. Parents say it can run more than a 100 dollars a month. The diapers will be distributed to families through food banks and the remainder will be delivered this month.
