New Name in Race for State Superintendent

There’s a new name in the race for the state’s top education job. Thursday, Dutch Fork High School teacher Kelly Payne announced she’ll run for State Superintendent of Education. The Republican says she’s ready to take on the role of superintendent and put the needs of students, parents and teachers first. Doctor Mick zais, Elizabeth Moffly and Brent Nelson are also seeking the Republican nomination. The only Democrat is Frank Holleman. To see the story, click on the video player under the news section.
