Cause of Quail Run Apt. Fire Released

Firefighters have released the cause of an apartment fire Monday night at the Quail Run Apartments in Forest Acres off Percival Road. Deputy Fire Chief Aubrey Jenkins says either a cigarette or some other form of smoking material was left on a bed. The fire damaged three occupied apartments. Jenkins says one resident had to be taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
