Man Commits Sucide In Jail
LEXINGTON, S.C. (AP) _ The Lexington County coroner says a65-year-old inmate at a South Carolina jail committed suicide in afall. Coroner Harry Harman says James Shealy died from head injuriesafter falling at the Lexington County jail Friday morning. Authorities say Shealy had been in the jail since he was chargedwith murder in July in the shooting death of his 60-year-old wife,Brenda, in their Gaston home after an argument over money. The State Law Enforcement Division is investigating JamesShealy’s death since it happened in jail.
