Ladson Company Lands Big Contract

(AP) _ A South Carolina company that makes armoredvehicles has received a $16 million contract to build mine disposalvehicles for the armed services of the United Kingdom. Force Protection Inc. of Ladson said Tuesday the contract callsfor building 23 of its Cougar Mastiff vehicles. The vehicles areused by mine disposal units.
