SC Sees Stomach Virus Cases Double

If you’ve been thinking that a lot of folks have been out of work sick lately, you’re right. Tuesday the Department of Health and Human Services announced the state has seen twice the number of norovirus cases so far this year. The norovirus is a stomach virus that causes vomiting or diarrhea for a day or two. Doctors say the best way to keep from getting sick is to wash your hands frequently and make sure surfaces like doorknobs and handrails are cleaned often.
